big bad lindz
Hi, I am interested but some more information and photos would be good. Is the gun steel proofed what is it chambered for, although you have had it serviced how old is it and have you been the only owner. You can PM me or post the replies. Jaminzx7r
At the risk of exposing my thickness, what's a double auto? never heard that expression before.
Zapp
The double auto is a 2 shot semi automatic. I used to know the reason they made them with a capacity of 2 (1 in chamber 1 in mag), but I forgot.
ptrangmar
Interested and have PM'd for snaps info etc
ptrangmar
Why they made them. My understanding is that they wanted to make an auto gun that they thought would be acceptable for use for with game shooting fraterinty, without them looking down there noses at the user! I used to compete and win a lot of clay flush competitions with a, now passed away friend. One day we were up against a pair, one which was using a double auto. I was amazed how fast he could load it. Just kept stuffing the rounds in the side.

chuck
The origional ones were called a double auto they then made 1 with a alloy action which was called the twelvette and a 20 bore version called a twenty weight. the alloy actions also came in different colours red and green being the most valuable Edited December 1, 2010 by chuck
