Frenchieboy
I have a Winchester Cooey Single Barrel Ejector 12 Bore that needs to find a new home to make room for a SxS that I am about to buy! This gun is very reliable but is well used and a bit tatty! When I got it the bluing was very thin and the woodwork was in a "well used" state so I took the gun apart and sprayed it all Matt Black - It actually looks quite good in matt black and I still have half the tin left to touch it up with! It has sling swivels fitted for a sling (If you like to use one I can throw in an old leather sling with it) and it is chambered for 2 and 3/4 inch cartridges - The bore has some slight pitting but nothing that I would raise any concerns about and the action is nice and tight with no "play or movement" whatsoever! - There is an awful lot of life left in this gun! The barrel is 30 inches long and I am told that it is 3/4 choke. The gun's serial number is 70178. OK, so what do I want for this "cheap and cheerful" shotgun? The rules say that I have to give a price so I am going to say £12.00 - However as an alternative I will accept a couple of boxes of 2 and 3/4 inch (12B) cartridges (Preferebly 6 shot) to put the SxS that I am buying, otherwise make me a "token" offer (Maybe even justone box of cartridges, a couple of pounds or "whatever"). I could do a RFD at the buyers expence but at this price it is hardly worth it so I would prefer a Face To Face Deal. I am in Bacup, Lancashire - Between Rochdale and Burnley! It goes without saying that you must have a valid SGC! Here's a few photos of the gun. Please Note - Any adverse comments about the wallpaper or the carpet could result in serious and permenant disfigurement caused by the wife (It's that time of the year) ! The Duncan
Still waiting for my sgc to come through - or I'd be heading north Hopefully you'll still have it then - my visit is booked for 6th Jan after delays because of the snow. I have my FAC so should be a formality. Even the Mrs is saying 'can't we just jump the gun' lol!

Frenchieboy
The gun is currently on hold for someone. However they are wanting it on a RFD Transfer so I am having to question them on if they realise how much this will cost when you think that most RFDs cant even give single barreled 12 bores away nowadays so you could pick one up for under £20.00 (Under half the cost of a RFD Transfer) I can say that Syrus at The Shooting Shack (Halliwell Road, Bolton) has a folding single 12 Bore for sale at £17.50 if anyone is interested (This gun was available as of Thursday just gone). AS it is I have said that I will hold it while it is being sorted out, if the situation changes I will let people know but I would prefer it to be collected (Face to Face). You have a couple of members also interested in the gun. As per our phone chat i still have to try and find someone to collect so if one of the other members gets to it before me then please let them have the deal. I only want it for a restoration job whereas someone wants it for their boy. To be fair to all please don`t hold it, if you find a buyer then let it go. muggins.
