Dekers
Amongst the usual Turkey etc tomorrow I'm having a Pheasant. It just goes through my mind as I consider all the old favorite dressings/sauces...do any of you have your own invented home made dressing that you are prepared to share the recipe for, just feel like something different with it. Cheers Edited December 24, 2010 by Dekers
oscarsdad
I created one on Sunday which was really lovely... I got a Christmas hamper from work which contains some Damson sauce... I browned some pheasant breasts in a pan then roasted them in the oven, when they were done, while they were resting, in the same pan put some finely sliced red onion a **** of butter and soften the onions. Then added red wine and a couple of spoons of this damson sauce which was then served over the breast on mash potato. It was really lovely, worth a try! oscarsdad
apparently k *** of butter is not allowed, maybe you should use margerine instead?
