is there anything i can do with this pea shooter to improve the power/accuracy/trigger and anything else

Hi,

I too started out with an SMK air rifle and in my honest opinion they are rubbish. I bought it because, yes, they are cheap but boy do you pay for the cheapness when shooting. Trigger pull will see you into 2012, accuracy is awful so i doubt you would be able to shoot pigeons further than about 10 yards.

However saying this, it probably only applies to the cheaper ones as my brother has one of the SMK XS208 Deluxe Sporter Seen here and swears by it, for being accurate and reliable.

I would advise speaking to a gun shop also but probably trade it in if it is one of the really cheapy ones and with airguns its always advisable to go for a known make. Best cheaper springer to buy in my opinion is the BSA Lightning or Meteor or any of the Weirach models.

Good luck with it :good:

In that case get your *** into Sandwell field sports and talk to Tony. http://www.sandwellfieldsports.co.uk/

Where will you be shooting?
