Magwitch Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) There's a small unkepted orchard that neighbours our permission and the farmer gave us the go ahead to get in there and reduce the rabbits, well we walked it when there was still quite a bit of cover about and it looked like we had struck the Mother load, holes every where and plenty of rabbits on top. Yesterday we gave it ago, we decide to net up and cut it into two sections. The first bury the rabbits sat tight and decided to take their chances with the ferrets underground until being dug to. The bag was slowly filled after a lot of spade work but the last bury was very disappointing, loads of holes but swallow in and outs and not much at home......................... Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 Well done this year is the first year we have cracked out so much ground before xmas with the harsh weather its knocked the cover back early.
