FalconFN
I used to use shells and the odd full body, but have now changed to FUDs, I've only tried them once for less than a hour (I gave up as I had flu), and they seemed to work well. they are nice and compact and seem to convince the pigeons I saw, they do look a bit dark though. In short they seem to be a little bit more convincing than shells and take up less room in the bag, but they are heavier and take longer to set up. Also not sure how they will work when crops get taller. Anyway they work for me.
Mightymariner
I have some, and they worked well on drillings where they show up well. They do look dark though. I have used them with shells, but not sure whether the two should be mixed - has anyone done the same?
yickdaz
used fuds since sept 09 and they work well but i use them alongside shell decoys just to build pattern but i have no doubt they would work on there own if set up in the right place and pigeons are using the field..also you can take the stakes off the fuds like i have and use longer stakes that i made from lenghts of dowel cut to 18 ins painted green to put them above rape in march early april when crop grows taller.
