Bobba
Off for a couple of hours lamping. Maybe the bunnies will be out in force after all this rain. Do you lamp alone? If so, what set-up do you use? I often lamp alone. With the use of inner tube to protect the barrels of my 20b Miroku I mount my Tracer lamp under the under barrel. The dimmer is a temporary mount on the foregrip tied with elastic bands passing under the rib (so as not to obstruct sighting). The battery is on my belt. For additional safety I use a Yukon NV for spotting nightwalkers - and they do appear from time to time. It works well for me and is efficient. hunters_return
Hi Steve, It was a rubbish night, very few about and muddy as hell only managed two rabbits. Bob, yes most of the time i go alone, I normaly stay in the truck with a scope mounted tracer on my 22lr out of one window and a home made window mounted search light (plugged into cigar lighter) out of the other window along with my wmr. I dont shoot shotguns at night as the noise scares me when its dark. If i do get out for a wonder, i use the 22lr and light and carry the wmr just so i dont have to leave it in the car.
