Billy.
I used to make spud guns. They're great fun and pretty scary when they explode after a seal gives way Not sure on the legality, but I was a kid who couldn't give a toss at the time! Bobba
I've made spud guns from 4 inch down pipe as the combustion chamber, and 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 waste pipe as the barrel. The back plate was a screw on cap fitted with a gas ignitor. Spud up barrel and squirt quick start into the combustion chamber. replace cap and hit gas ignitor. Good fun - we did tape up the combustion chamber just in case to avoid splintering should it occur!!! I wouldn't regard them as lethal - only to the operative
