al4x
send it back straight away, if it goes away and the vet gives the all clear then fine but otherwise it will be a money pit and won't be a worker. As its a known condition it will also be pretty much uninsurable

apache
No-one knows for sure at this stage. Some puppy murmurs go away and the dog is fine. Many dogs have heart murmurs and live perfectly normal lives. If it's still there when she has her 2nd jab, then decide whether you want to see a cardiologist and find out what the problem is [need ultrasound as a minimum to be sure] or return it. I know of many working dogs with heart murmurs.
Tom&Dexter
Whos vet picked it up out of interest, have you had the pup checked by your vet ?
Dirty Harry
My Schnauzer had a heart murmor for a few years and eventually we had him put to sleep a few months ago. It got to the stage where the excitment of seeing me in the morning was enough to make him colapse. I would not keep a pup knowing that he had this problem.
