webber
Webber......? I seriously doubt that it is the shoot over the road. Its probably Crank, but I'm not certain as I no longer have any contact with the area. I've tried to contact my ex keeper friend Ian who would probably know, but I wouldn't worry about it. If Delph haven't tagged theirs, its one that you've won, which certainly makes a change for that shoot. When I was involved it was poached and vandalised to infinity, and not managed too well, too many chiefs, too few indians. I doubt that matters have improved. If I do find out who has tagged in the area I'll let you know. webber
scolopax
Don't tag our birds, its the surest way of turning your 40% return into a 20% return. We shot a grey partridge a few seasons ago with a very worn and faded pink plastic leg ring. I knew a keeper a few miles away always rung his released partridge and on calling him discovered that it was probably his and would have been five years old as he changed colours every season.
