Miroku_Dave
This is my little lad out beating last Saturday, he loves coming out with me and his brother and is desperate to be one of the Guns! Hes only 4 and this is his first season. Could he be one of if not the youngest beater in Britain?

Miroku_Dave
My kids have a great time beating and because they are small they don't have to duck under the pine trees that cover the shoot! We usually only stay for a couple of hours but when we stay until the end both the lads swear thay can identify every bird that they flushed! Its like working a pair of dogs sometimes but ones that answer back! Edited January 20, 2011 by Miroku_Dave

kevinbird
well done to the little lad and well done to the father. this is the best education you could teach him at this age as he will respect the british countryside and he will thank you for it when he gets older. trust me, i thank my father all the time for taking the time and patience to show me all the things that a towny kid does not know, and never will . welldone and keep it up. he may be our next pigeon pro. regards , kev

gixer1
Fantastic! can't wait until my wee boy is big enough to come out, he always wants to come out the door where ever i go but as he's 2 its just not possible! I remember being about 10 years old sat on a upturned bucket in the back of a truck with my dad and his friend out lamping and i used to think it was great! Regards, Gixer.. al4x
my nephew who is 2 was out at the weekend loves it watching the shooting. Not quite big enough to beat yet but next season possibly. Great to get them out and enjoying things, hell my nephew at two seems to have a better understanding of game shooting than a fair few on here
