Bleeh
Books on shooting are great, but they are also very expensive; I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I tried to organize a PW 'Book swap' of some form. It would work along these sort of guidelines. You've got your book, and you mark it as your own (Write your Name, address within, etc). You arrange a swap with an interested party - This can be done via a quick 'What I'm after' and 'What I have for swap' post in a main thread, and PM from that point onwards.. You send them your book, at the same time they send you theirs. After a prearranged set of time (Fortnight?) you send the book back. I'm guessing with postage, it'll cost about a £1 a time for most sized books, but you could always reuse packaging again and again. There would obviously have to be rules, and willingness to swap would be up to the individual on a case to case basis; but I think if we get this sorted, we can have a good thing going (and we can discuss such rules and so on within this thread, and with enough interest I'd set up an official topic later), I've got several books on stalking I'd be really happy to read up on some pigeon shooting or something. So, thoughts people?

njc110381
That would be brilliant. I spend half my life reading and have read all my shooting books at least three times! I've got quite a few too.

palombier
Bleeh Just a couple of points. It is not a great idea to write your name and address in a book as it can affect the value. Postage is likely to be more than a pound and remember the quote "Never lend books, for no one ever returns them; the only books I have in my library are books that other folks have lent to me” However I hope your idea works well.
