Hiya,

I was planning on having a long lie then and afternoon/evening session on the farm, but a nice kind person woke me up at 5.45 with a blown exhaust in the street  So I had a change of plan, got ready and headed out to the farm for first light i had seen plenty of signs of Roe being about in the top fields when I was up there a walk yesterday so thought it was worth a look. As I walked down the lane i spotted a Doe standing when her back to me about 80 yrds out so I quickly got the gun setup and lay waiting to see if she would turn to present a shot. Almost on cue she did and I sent a 50 grain softpoint from the .222 through her heart, she ran for about 30 yrds then keeled over dead. :)

I never weighed her but she is probably the biggest Doe I've seen / shot so far :)
