Beno
Thinking of making a lamping platform for the back of my pick up, think it would be alot more effective then out of the window and on the bonnet. Does anyone have any picturs of there set up they could show me?
al4x
get a scaffold board attach two seats to it and sit it across the sides of the rear bed and use the roof to lean on. Works a treat, we have a variation with two old suzuki sj seats welded to a couple of scaffold bars to do the same job and its lamping in luxury
vampire
Just buy any old vauxhall frontera, the lid comes off and you have a ready made platform
Kudu
I've posted this before, but here's my 'truck' set up. http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae171/Fox121/259.jpg
Devon Fox
We have a similiar set up as kudu, except the table top surrounds you so you have to duck under and pop up in the middle - give you 360 degree rest. Downside - it's ****** to lift and place, but excellent to shoot off, used mainly for the summer.
Grandalf
Get an old Landrover and cut a hole in the roof - it's much warmer!
