lurcherboy
There is a lad coming over from Denmark and he has been told to contact the 'local consabulary' about shooting here. Is there anyone on this excellent site that can give me some info on his behalf? Time is of the essence chaps! LB
new to the flock
LB When I was coming over Paul tookmy details...birthdate, address, etc down over the phone went into the local and applied for my license. He had it in his posetion in 14 days. 3 months before I arrived. Give your local a call and ask them what info they require. NTTF
palombier
LB What he needs is a visitors permit which costs £12 from your local licensing office. Applications are on fform 107(see link) Anyone can sponsor him and he (sponsor) doesn't have to be a SGC/FAC holder, just has to be of good character. It may speed up the application if he can provide details of his licence in Denmark etc. Hope this is what you wanted the following link may help. http://www.met.police.uk/firearms-enquiries/pdfs/FF107.pdf All ultimatelydepends on what the local licensing office are like as to how quickly they can turn it round. nbd1
He needs a European Gun Permit, when he gets that he has to send it over to you, You then send it to Firearms dept who endorse it. It then gets sent back to DK they can then bring in there gun without any problems. There is no charge for the endorsement. If you phone your firearms dept they will explain this to you Neil
Axe
LB, maybe the BASC Firearms department is worth a call. :o
M ROBSON
LB, They must have a European pass and a Visitors permit, they won't get the visitors permit without the pass. Cheers, Mark.
