lincs1963
I suspect that this topic has probably been covered on here before but I can't find it! For general use what range do you tend to zero your .17HMR's at?I was thinking probably 50 yards and that should leave me 'on' from 30 yards out to maybe 120 yards? Any thoughts on that? Thanks, Neil.
Alycidon
I zero my rifles to shoot 1/4 inch high at the mid point, means I can take head shots to beyond zero without thinking about it to much. My centerfires are 160 yards, dont have an HMR though. A
deejay
Hmr zero @100 yards gives you from 50 yards to 150yards without having to mess with your head so to speak. Darren
Dekers
100 yard zero seems to work well for many, but 125 yard is another figure I have heard banded about (mine is 100). Simple fact is you zero it at the distance that works for you, the land, the quarry and the ammo!
