David BASC
Apart from the cost ? Seriously, its at the heart of the BASC message, if you can by the land you shoot over then do. Many wildfowling clubs have benefited from this over the years and now some inland shoots are stating to see the benefits. BASC has a staff member dedicated to helping with finding land and helping you find funding that may help pay for it in part. There will be others on here that know a damn site more about grouse than I do, all I know if that managing a moor is a full time job, but well worth it.
