0145wirbelwind
I shot longridge and got a 60 wicth is not bad for me. I found it hard but fair ,with some very tricky birds , but i had a lot of fun
paul99
I shot longridge and got a 60 wicth is not bad for me. I found it hard but fair ,with some very tricky birds , but i had a lot of fun I didn't shoot but was at the motocross just across the way supporting my brother who was riding but I spent most of my time fustrated at having to listen to all that shooting going on and not being able to join in - it wasn't until I got home and looked the place up that I realised that it was longridge shooting ground and that I needn't have bothered worrying as it was a CPSA registered event and I'm not a member so couldn't have joined in even if I had the gun with me. The sad thing is I'll be down there again in 3 weeks time for the next MX round there and will end up being fustrated all over again as there is another CPSA event the same weekend according to the Longridge website :/ . HDAV
just go and shoot it, they do birds only That was my plan!
paul99
Thanks guys I didn't realise that you could could shoot birds only at registered events and assumed I'd need to become a member just to shoot - although I intend doing a bit more clay shooting this summer I still wouldn't be doing enough at registered grounds (yet) to warrant getting a membership. I'll almost certainly be taking the gun with me next time then so long as my brother is riding at the MX again - it's just a little bit too far for a day trip otherwise... Thansk Again Paul. HDAV
Thanks guys I didn't realise that you could could shoot birds only at registered events It's at the grounds discretion but i dont see many turning away £25.......for a layout that set and running!
