Coolhead
They are fantastic for the money. Built like a tank but check the condition of the striking face and extractor hook. They are pretty tolerant on most subs. They can do some impressive stuff over 100yds in still air with Eley Match but that's pushing it too far for humane hunting in my book. Not much difference in performance between models. I've got the varmint but it is heavy and I've not seen any great benefit over the standard models. The factory Set Trigger is excellent on the models that have it but many folk get a trigger kit for the standard type. The larger mag is worth the money too. Gallser
Bought a used one and haven't had any bother what so ever with it in over 2 years. Looks and feels as if it will last for ever.

bruno22rf
Eley extra subs or RWS high velocity-best advice i can give.Gun is amazing and short of turning it into a sub machine gun i cant think as you,ll ever wear it out-accuracy with a bipod should be about 120 yards maximum in still air conditions.Great guns. They are one of the least fussy rifles around.
