henry d
Spent the better part of the day with my mate shooting around the farm. Spoke to the gaffa before we started and his words were "You`ll never shoot them all !" As ever, he was right, Jim was shooting the steading where the jackdaws and rooks were helping themselves to the animal feed and he had a good day even though they knew he was there he ended with 17 birds, mainly jacks and rooks. I set up a good bit away and hoped to get a rabbit to set out as bait for the crows. Easier said than done! I eventually watched a rabbit run around the roundel and shot it at 80-ish yds with the .222 and moved to the other side and the grass park. I need not have bothered as there was a recently deceased ewe there Anyhoo, I set the bunny at just over 100yds and waited...... and waited........ and you get the picture, they were too interested in trying it on with the other sex and eventually after lunch I got this one at 207 yds. My longest shot on hoodies so far and I`m well chuffed. Managed to video it HERE , hope you enjoy it.
