morgan
28 bore Remington 1100 for sale 28b Remington 1100 lightweight for sale - excellent condition. Stock and bluing are both near perfect. It has special grade walnut woodwork with very good figuring and grain. Perfect bore, no wear to mechanics. Skeet choke. Also comes with a spare cutdown stock and forend for a youth or lady. I've used this gun all winter for hedgerow pheasants, hill rabbits and upland snipe and it is a pleasure to use. Unfortunately its too big for my daughter who is nine. Lovely fast handling gun.You are welcome to try it out before purchase. £525.00 Will travel a bit for a face to face transaction or will rfd. morgan
HI, You say skeet choke , is the barrel fixed skeet choke ? also what loads have you cycled through the gun ? REGARDS BOB Hi Bob, Thank you for your message. Yes it is a fixed skeet choke with a normal rib and game type stock. The gun is 100% factory original apart from the spare stock. You can see the gun has hardly been used. It is probably 10 years old and has the better finish and engraved reciever, compared to the current remingtons. I've been using 28gm loads with sucess, but I don't think it is fussy as it shoots the 16gms just as well. Cheers Morgan

casts_by_fly
Long shot, but I don't suppose you're interested in a 6-24 Nikon Monarch or custom Spey rod in part trade are you? I'd love to have this gun for my wife and a friend to learn on, but cash is short at the moment. Thanks, Rick

morgan
I think it weighs 6.5 lbs as it is the lightweight model - according to an old Remington catalogue - I haven't got any scales to check unfortunately. It doesn't have the heavy feel of the 12 bores anyway. Cheers Edited March 3, 2011 by morgan
