Here goes of the top of me ead!

Shoot pigeons

Breast off pigeons

Cut length ways 3 or 4 slices about the width of your little finger (fat blokes adjust accordingly)

Arrange in a tray & marinade in malt vinegar (just enough to coat all the pigeon)

Springle your choice of biltong spice over the pigeon & work it all in

Pop in the fridge for an hour

Springle a bit more spice over pigeon & work in

Repeat til the pigeon is nicely coated ( I did this for about 3 hours)

Pop in your biltong maker for 2 to 3 days

Slice thinly the strips

Pour a cold beer then enjoy!

Delicious :good:

P.S

Type in to google make your own biltong maker, its a piece of wee wee & well worth doing.

Sorry to derail your thread SA shooter, but these heathens need educating!

Nice shooting by the way :good:

Sounds great, but biltong maker! I hang mine near the ceiling above the woodburner, works great (but does looks like I'm executing dog poo).

I season mine with salt, cracked black pepper, crushed corriander seed, chilli and a dash of smoked paprika.
