bennyblanco
I was called ten years ago and booked two weeks off work unpaid, I was only used for three mornings before being sent home when I was not chosen for the trial jury. But I couldn't go back to work as we had allocated work in mind of me being off so it turned into a couple of weeks catching specimen chub on the Cam (and beer) I would love to be called again and do a trial this time and would actually happily do it as a full time job if it were possible, we got to see a plea bargaining on the 1st day in which a squaddie had kicked the **** out of a huge south african in a sleazy Cambridge nightclub. Seeing the posh wig wearing toffs say things like "you knocked my client to the ground where you stood upon his neck calling him a ****" was excellent fun. Evil Elvis
I think i'd like to do jury service for the experience after reading this thread, but i think my biggest hinderence is i can sleep standing up so would need a particulary exciting case to stimulate my brain! Im soooooo with you on that one!!!!! At Court when the attending officer asks for your name and address, the reply is "eh eh eeeehhhhh". I now have a monitor and keyboard spatterred with fursty ferret...............
