The Burpster
Barrels have to minimum of 24" other than that I am unaware of length regulations - Theoretically you can have a 24" folding stock, pistol grip on an SGC - Why you would want such a beast excpet for PSG (and then you want as many shots as you cannot 3) is another issue. The Burpster
so im ok on the barrel length , and even the pistol grip is in for a chance looking good I believe so, I'm guessing its pistol grip and stock or pistol grip and folding stock..? The major classification limiter in law is the barrel length as above. From who are you obtaining this beast? It will either be on an indivuals SGC or at an RFD - if its already on an SGC - no issue. If its at an RFD then if it requires an FAC he cant sell it to you, if you only have an SGC. I'm pretty shure overall gun length and barrel length matter check with basc or ur FEO It may do in Scotlandshire your licensing has significant differances to ours in E&W. Rifles it is an overall min length but Shotguns in E+W are classified around a min barrel length, whereas rifles are not.
Dave 101
Hi Unless you are shooting PSG I wouldnt bother with a pistol grip because they dont make a shotgun very pointable for moving targets . Dave
mickmep
section 2 shotgun (on sgc not fac) minimum barrel length of 24" minimum overall length of 40" hence why folding stock spas have to have the stock fixed so it wont fold. pistol grip stocks are legal as long as the length complies with above surenova's are available with them. in my opinion they're ok on a pump action. if it comes with both best to give it a try and see if you like it. dougall
Minimum barrel length 24inches. If a Pump or Semi-Auto then additionally overall gun MUST be 40 inches or else classified as a Section 1(ie needs to be on FAC). Only stipulation as I understand it is minimum 24 inch barrels if a s/s or o/u. Remember seeing this on police website. If in doubt ring your FEO.
