WGD
And that's before you mention eyes, elbows and FT awards/lineage.
Richard756
I dont want paying would like one of his pups (personaly i dnt think a piece of paper means much to a dog)
al4x
sadly it does give you traceability back to ensure its actually all lab and not really inbred etc Best option is someone on a shoot locally who has seen yours work and also doesn't have a pedigree bitch. But with a lab without hip scores at minimum you may have trouble shifting the pups
Tom&Dexter
Dont do it if he and the bitch have not been fully tested.

pegleg31
if you go preloved/gumtree and all the other puppy peddling sites you'll probably have a little luck as puppy peddlars don't care about anything but the money.any dog respecting breeder wouldn't go anywhere near a dog without the relevemt health checks. Richard756
How often do you all take your dogs for checkups i take my alf yearly and he gets wormed every 3 months. He doesnt like tge vet much i always have to be ready with a poo bag lol
Tom&Dexter
Every 6 Months But thats nothing to do with breeding
tom_0787
If your not willing to do the eye and hip tests then dont breed from him. The breeder I got Leo from had loads of testing done on both sire and dam. When I was in the market for a working dog, health testing and a proven working pedigree are what I was interested in and I wouldn't even have considered a working dog mating with no paperwork.
