welshwarrior
How do I tell if my 20 bore uses Invector or Invector + choke tubes. I bought some aftermarket Invector chokes that seem looser than the factor provided ones so can't use them does that mean I need Invector Plus chokes?? :hmm: :hmm:
MAL S
invector plus chokes are longer than invector choke thats alls
welshwarrior
Does anyone have any they could measure for me so I don't do any damage
MAL S
if the ones you bought are shorter than the ones you got with the gun then you need invector plus, invector plus chokes are quite a bit longer than invector chokes
welshwarrior
They seem the same length but the new ones are extended the thread fits but the part above the thread is narrower the go firm when screwed all the way in. I'm confused I knew I should have stayed with a Beretta again
Dibs
What is the model of the gun? and what make aftermarket chokes have you bought?

(excluding the external portion?)
welshwarrior
It's a FIAS or browning medalist and I got Teague extended invector skeet chokes.
Dibs
You seem to have the right chokes and the Teagues are top quality so should not be any problem with them. Most extended chokes will rock until you screw them right in and then they should sit firmly. Dont over tighten but finger tight they should be firm, if so they should be fine. Guest cookoff013
use grease aswell. wipe any excess out of the bores.
welshwarrior
Cool looks like I have the right ones then the rocking stops when they are finger tight I don't tend to use a choke key as finger tight has always been fine before. Cheers guys
