100milesaway
As says, It's the Bleasdale charity shoot on Saturday, nestling in the beautiful Trough of Bowland, near Abbeystead. Its always a bit of an unknown quantity this one with some odd prizes ( like 5 gallons of deisel oil) but a lovely location and a nice warm village hall with Tattie hash and red cabbage and some lovely homemade cakes etc. Fibre wad, usually small testing sporting layout with a DTL also. from Auntie. 100milesaway
It's one of those unless your told you never hear about it shoots. I have never seen it advertised but it's very well subscibed and attended by some quite well known shots. If you have sat/nav just type in Bleasdale if not put it into AA route finder. Its on a dead end lane so once you are in the general vicinity you can't go wrong. I usually get there about 11 o'clock but it's on more or less all day.Go on an empty stomach 'cause the grub is excellent. from Auntie. 100milesaway
Is this http://www.thesportingshoot.co.uk/pages/frames.htm the place? Yes, but it is purely a charity shoot day and not an organised group affair. As fenntay said , its very popular to those in the know and you may have to park up near the village church but thats not too far away from the action. Its not a big place .Enjoy from Auntie.
