adam f
My YODAVE kit arrived last week from Canada. I stripped my new CZ455 today and replaced the trigger - the factory pull was over 5lb! I found I didnt need any of the shims supplied - the 455 from the factory was bang on the money with zero creep - nice to see. But what spring to fit? The pack came with 4 - I fitted the 2nd lightest one - on re-assembaly it feels awefully light? I just wondered what most people think is the optimum setting? Or is it all personal preferance? Catweazle
I prefer a heavier trigger on a field rifle. Whatever you decide remember to check it doesn't go off accidentally by giving the butt a good wallop with a rubber mallet.

Adam Yes, it is personal preference, but for field work all of mine are 1.75-2lb. I find anything less inappropriate for the field, for target work set it as light as you can feel! bigstevouk
Not quite sure why you have bought a trigger kit for the CZ455 as on the CZ web site it says there are adjustable? I think i'd look into this before you start tinkering.... from site Trigger - ADJ. FOR POUNDAGE Edited March 12, 2011 by bigstevouk

Mine is 2 lb mate, Make sure you do test it with a mallet as above, that way it wont accidently go off and scare the **** out of me when we're lamping! OK - Thanks all, I'll see how I get on with this one, but may go a spring heavier....
