I am wondering if it is of the same family as our black locust.....Robina psneudoacacia...or our honey locust....Glenditsia tricanthos. new to the flock Posted March 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Thank you gentleman.....I did not realize that it is where the wonderful sloe berry came from.........mmmmmmm sloe gin :thumbs: Prunus spinosa, family Rosaceae., puts it in the plum faimly, which makes sence.
