leeboy
I'm in the market for a semi auto and had originally decided on a benelli as there is plenty of choice for a left hander. But deep down I want an extrema 2. In theory if glasses are worn there should be no problem with hulls/gasses ejecting the same side of my face. But... I really dont like wearing shooting glasses when I'm shooting live quarry. From what I've read, most left handed Americans shoot right handed autos without problems and dont seem to fussed about glasses. Do you guys wear glasses ? Is it really that dangerous not to wear them ? Probably a daft question ! Leeboy
Lord Geordie
I guess it's down to which path you want to take Safety or go with what you always wanted. Personally i would buy a TRUE left handed gun that ejects to the left. There are 2 benelli TRUE left handers on www.guntrader.co.uk LG Edited March 18, 2006 by Lord Geordie
lurcherboy
I always wear those cheap disposal ones now for doing clays. I think they are about £2-99 a throw and last 4 to 5 sessions. CPSA approved etc. LB

MC
Believe me once you have had the **** out of a cartridge in your eye you will always wear glasses. I am right handed and shoot a right handed semi and still managed to get a face full of **** and it stings. 2.99 is cheap compared to replacing your eyesight. I bought mine from an online mountain bike shop and they have 4 different lenses and they were 12.99. Cheers MC
