Hi all, the pic below was taken on the 28th Febuary, our last day of the fallow deer season.

I found it on the Camera and forgot about it, been out so much after foxes at the time.

Anyway, the 2 fallow in the pic were taken with me mates 6.5 X 55 and 140 grain

Soft Point. The first doe was at 193 yds away, when she went down to the shot, the other ran in closer to 98 yds and started barking.

He did not shoot, she was on the crest of a hill and even though their was another hill behind, their was also a dip in between, which may of had cattle in.

We waited to see what she would do, it felt like for ever, then she ran down it to the bottom of the hill and stood, lovely, she went down.

We were in a deep valley and its amazing how a full bore rifles echos across it like thunder. :sly: .

Pic below.
