First wild Goslings seen

driving into work today a pair of Egyptian geese were fending off a crow trying to nab one of the Goslings, the first wild ones I have seen this year. A few on the ponds have been around a while but wildies are nice to see.

We also still have around 250 Pinks feeding on the cattle marsh that should have left a while back :hmm:

KILL THEM! Whoops, sorry, that only applies to canadas.

There's none down here yet but thats probably because we shoot them as they hatch ;)

We had 9 fledge of our lake last year and 14 the year before, so hoping to do better this year. Canada's that is.

Got to do my bit for the wildfowlers !!!!!
