rtaylor
Just bought a 243 rifle and zeroed it in with winchester 100grain ammo. I have now come away for the weekend, hopefully to do a fair bit of shooting. Just been down the gun shop to buy some more rounds but they didn't have any Winchesters, I have bought some Geco 105grain rounds. I will try them out later, but will they throw the groups compared to the winchester 1" at 80 yards? Also are they any good in general? I'm hoping the rifle likes them as at just under £18 a box a bit easier on the wallet.
al4x
they are heavy for most standard .243's twist wise mine shot them ok but not great, try them out if they group then great but if not its understandable. If they shoot they will definitely work though
Newsportshooter
Sub 3/4" at 100 yards from my T8 Moderated Scout - which has a short fluted barrel. Nice heavy, quality RWS bullet and the brass seems very good too (on a par with SAKO by the looks of things). All depends on whether your gun spins them right I guess. If yo ufind they work with your rifle buy a few boxes as I have seen the prices of Geco rising as people find out how good they are. I was paing £15 a box for them there now at £19 where I get them from.....
John_R
I ran in my Sako with those, and was pleasantly surprised how well they shot.
rtaylor
Put two through yesterday, grouping is pretty good. Two more shots when we went out later and two dead Muntjac. Can't complain too much with that! I'll have another play with them later them I might a few boxes.
