They are normally reasonably speedy in My experience - A pal has just had a variation turned around in 10 days (this is a much quicker adjustment than a sgc/fac 1st cert')

How long have they been waiting?

My first sgc (many moons ago took about 6-7 weeks, have their cheques been cashed/cleared yet? that can be an indication of it moving in the right direction.

Sit tight & good luck to 'em :good:

Hi,

Unfortunately, I was as sick as a parrot so it's all a bit of a blur and I cannot give precise dates. Suffice to say, my co-terminous renewal took three full months and I finally got my sticky little fingers on it three days after the existing one went out of date This was just before Christmas.

Cheers

Yea mine took ages, my FAC was a good three months and my SGC was longer than that!! Amuses me when some people are on the phone complaining after Only a few weeks! If it's turned round in less than 8 weeks I would consider myself lucky, well for here anyway lol.

Agreed, I certainly have no complaints, of course it would be great if the turn around time was a week or so, but I think you have to be realistic and realise that that the time variations are probably due to demand, which would also be why different forces are quicker than others.

Have to say that the FEO for my area that dealt with my FAC & SGC was absolutely superb! As a shooter herself she was realistic and helpfull.
