12borejimbo
I have a lightforce lamp on top of the truck, which is great, but when im out on the quad, I use a Clulite handheld job. Good lamp, but I find it difficult to drive, lamp and shoot at the same time. So I thought (and it did hurt) if there was any kind of clip available to clip the lamp onto the scope of my rifle, so I dont have to hold the lamp underneath my rifle and then rest the forend on my wrist, so that the lamp is pointing in the same direction of the rifle whislt using 2 hands, it is a pig of a job and makes lamping on my own harder. If not, does any one else have any idea what I could do? Or what do you lot do? I dont want to permanantly mount the lamp ontop of the scope, because I would have to wave the rifle about whilst on the quad and this will not defeat the object. huffhuff
What model of lamp is it?
steve_b_wales
Cluson sell a clamp that will fit both 25 / 30mm scopes. I bought a conversion kit to alter my Blaserlite lamp to fit onto the clamp. It works well too! Steve.
Paddy Galore!
i got a tracer max kit, it comes with a clamp for 25mm scopes, for 30mm tubes i had to buy a 30mm weaver scope mount, turned it upside down and the lamp fits to this. huffhuff
I have the cluson masterlight supreme and can highly recommend. Small and light. Comes with a universal scope mount and tactical trigger for optimal use when going solo. They also sell clamps and mounts for their entire range. Or you could rig something up in the shed i'm sure. If not, ask 'dexter'
