HI I was hoping to help you but if there are no letters in the serial number I am unable to,if you happen to find a number with letters in it the codes are listed below

Miroku Codes

. It's two letters in the serial number (usually at the end):

Z=1; Y=2, X=3, W=4, V=5; T=6; R=7; P=8, N=9, M=0.

Thus, a gun with PN in the serial number was made in 1989.

Looking at the pics.it might be an older 600 model. If it is, and it was a private purchase, it is worth getting the bores miked up internally.

For reasons best known to the Japs the 600 range was bored at .740, the largest size for a 12 bore,and it can happen, as did with mine,that although the bores look unmarked there has been enough wear to render them out of proof.

If you bought it from a gun shop then no need to worry since it would have been checked before sale.
