dbroe333
Hello after my recent questions i went and bought a springer however there were only 2 dogs left so i took both.Ive now been thinking and relaise that i might have been wrong to do so. So now im wondering should i keep the 2 and train them even if im first timer or give one to a friend who recently lost his gundog.Ive i do give one away which should i keep 1.Larger than 2 but more lazy and rathers to lie around than seek attenion or 2.Smaller but more lively loves attention and full of devilment Thanks for all yer help Daniel
FalconFN
I would go for the one that likes attention as it will help in training. It sounds as though the smaller one will also be more submissive which is a bonus. Good luck with whatever you decide.
al4x
personally I wouldn't buy two at the same time as it makes life so much harder. If you can part with one it will make life easier in your case with a potential good home lined up it may be straight forward. As for which to keep if its a first dog possibly the quieter one. Elby
The breeder should never have sold you 2 pups from the same litter. I would walk/train them totally seperate for a few weeks and keep whichever one is showing more potential
GW80
Two from the same litter can cause problems, espically if kennelled together, their loyalty will be to one another and not to you!
