highseas
One advantage to having a stammer/stutter I found was to have a very large vocabulary if you get stuck and cannot get a word out get around it by using a completely different word. I found this to be a very useful ploy it also helps when you are listening to people talking and they use words that are not generally used that much I can understand what the person is saying while some others are looking lost. this is very true some of the things i come out with is eerm odd? i used to get loads of permission too ime shure it helped, go out on my bmx in the rain, flatcap in hand and the farmers couldent say no! Lloyd90
No you're right, looking on and laughing at the "joke" of female officers struggling to separate 2 violent drunk blokes is a much more appropriate response. What was I thinking. What do you suggest I should have done ? Gone in amongst the 7 people already wrestling with each other and get involved ? Id of ended up in the cells with the other 2 idiots, dont be so naive. When the Police and someone are having a tussle you dont just step in going "Oh I think I'll give you a hand." Obviously I wasnt the only person of this opinion as literally hundreds of people went past and no one stepped in. The original point stands, Those 5 officers combined couldnt do the job they were being payed to do! My mates dad did 30 years in South Wales Police, he said when he joined they would recruit the type of blokes who were big tall, well built and normally rugby players and such. You wouldnt have to worry about them pulling someone apart!

Obviously I wasnt the only person of this opinion as literally hundreds of people went past and no one stepped in. They were probably rushing home to bleat about how the police can't do their job properly on the internet. I gave a couple of coppers a hand with a bloke once. He was thrashing around like fish out of water, kicking out, spitting and being a complete cock. With a little bit of extra assistance he was soon cuffed and in the back of the car. I have to say it was quite satisfying to do my bit for society! :yp:
Marine1980
Why the hell should he they are paid to do a job if they cannot do it they should net have signed up 5 police against 2 men if it was the other way round 5 men against 2 police women then he should have helped. Yes but surely that would have made it 6 men against 2 coppers!!!! Royal
Marine1980
The last time I tried to help two female coppers restrain a bloke whilst working the doors one of them tried to arrest me for undermining her ability as they apparently had it all under control and I had only helped out to show them up as I'm a fairly big bloke!!! Next time I would rather just watch them get battered and tell them told you so! Royal
