Clint1
I was in Aldi yesterday and they had a Newton night vision monocular 14062 nocked down to £79.99. I had a look at it and after learning the 60day return and 3 year warraty, I bought it as I've always fancied one. Looking on ebay later, people are trying to sell these for anything upto £1200!! There seems to be 2 models, 14062 and 14063 and the latter seems to be the higher priced. Strangely, some are trying to sell the former at the high price. So are these just massive cons? Is there a huge difference between the two models? The spec of the 14063 looks identical to the one I bought(14062) And guess what? When I checked the receipt later they only charged me £59.99!! So what do the panel think. Should I stick it on ebay and con some mug into paying 10x the price? Seriously though can anyone throw any (IR) light on this. Sorry for all the puns. You mean there's about a k missing of the Aldi price compared to Ebay! Another pun! It's OK, I've already got it, hat as well and am on my way out. Seemed fine to me. Well made, light and crucially I could see in the dark-in detail. But I intend to give it a rigorous testing before I use it for anything important

bennyblanco
Iirc you need a bracket bolted to the side rather than the normal lens to lens clamp, Geoff at night vision supplies has made some.
