Fenny
Had advertised on the forum for three members to go out with me to shoot on 4 large areas of bald rape and finish the evening with a roost shoot covering 4 little copses. All 3 members turned up yesterday morning at mine and we set off to the rape fields in question with great excitement. The weather was ideal overcast and windy and a great day was had by all final count 66 woodies and 3 crows with 38 pigeon shot on the rape and 28 shot on the roost.I would like to thank those who turned up and those who sent pm a big thank you Fenny

One man and his lab
Hi Fenny I'm really new to pigeon shooting, can I ask when your roost shooting at this time of the year when there is more foliage do you go for a position on the flight into the wood before the trees become to dense? and what might i be looking for in picking a good spot to stand? Fenny
with it being very windy on the fens at the moment the pigeon come in very low to the copses all we do is set up a hide right on the edge of the copse and shoot them as they come into the copse cheers fenny
