  1. Type shotgun choke in on youtube and there are a few good explanations on there.
  2. Ditto apart from I use 30g Eley 6.5 I don't have a face mask though does it make a huge difference?
  3. Great story enjoyed that, and great pics too. Bloody lucky fox and pheasants.
  4. Always been a **** paper and now there's more it, would be funny if it flopped.
  5. If you've ever watched Cesar Millan he sorts dogs out with this same problem all the time, if you have Sky take a look channel 528 and you'll see, also i believe he has some info on his website. You can use high value treats such as meat, sausage, chicken to encourage the dog into the car. It's important that when the dog is anxious you don't give her any affection though as you will only enhance her anxiety.
  6. I use magnets on my Lab because she had a surgery on knee ligaments when she was 6 months old and would be the same limping after a days work. I've used magnets for the last 2 years Brod Pod on her collar and a magnetic bed, she has never limped since. Maybe give them a try, I will always use them from now on.
  7. Petit spoke some sense on Sky Sports, I say Petit takes over because I just don't see another manager out there for Arsenal.
  8. Totally agree with this especially the last highlighted part.
  9. There's some really good advise on this by New to the Flock on another thread, have a look for it I used it with mine and it worked brilliantly. Sorry can't remember the thread.
  10. I know a fella who has a FTW in Penshurst and can get his number if you wanted
  11. Handsome hound and snowman. Labs are so good with young children, my boy spends half his time in her box.
  12. A six months old my lab had the same op but only on the one leg, and for a while after she used to limp no and again. I used Brod Pod it's a pair of magnets that you put on their collar, I got this because it had a 90 day money back offer. Since putting it on she has had no problems or a single limp, I really endorse magnets and so does a friend who uses them on horses. All my future dogs will have them, and you can get beds and all sorts.
  13. I had a similar experience with crows wanting to die, I use an O/U and managed to get 4 shots away before killing this crow he just kept hovering over me, totally bizarre.
  14. Nice vid and not a blink or a murmour from her, she must be made out of pot. Handsom and well behaved
  15. The dog was being deliberatly defiant and therefore the handler needed to get out to the dog and challenge that behaviour in order to stop it happening again, which prooved to have worked well on the very next retrieve. The dog got very excited with the rabbit dummy in the first place and was a young dog. I know the word chase in dog handling is a big no, so perhaps I should have chosen a better one. The trainer has trained many many really good dogs and handlers has a very good reputation which I personally wouldn't want to ruin or have people who have only a simple sensationalised description of the situation to bring into question. My fault for an oversimplified and whimsical explanation, apologies for that. This thread was for a bit of a laugh and nothing more than that.
  16. 265 2 with the shotgun whilst roost shooting pigeons. This was my first and second ever squirrel
