Bowen20
Hi all i ordered a stock for my howa 1500 ss .223 from http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Thumbhole-Replacement-Stocks-Weatherby-Howa-s/34.htm it looks superb and feels very nice to hold especialy when laid down with it on the pod. The Stock cost me including priority international mail $151.80 DOLLERS which is £91.00 i did have to pay a duty of £24.70 which i wasnt happy about but oh well sure beats paying £250.00+ for the same stock over here. My rifle just dropped Straight into the stock no finishing needed or 'Modding' and the barrel was totally free floating straight away. Im going out in a couple of hours to check the zero. I did take just a couple of quick photos on my phone as i cant find my proper camera anywhere and the stock took about 10 days to arrive which i thought was good especialy with the bank holls and wedding. and the bonus is you can track it every step of the way online give you updated progress on your package. ollie
My variation is in for a Howa 1500 Stainless Sporter, thumbhole, but I was considering one of the new ambidextrious thumbholes. I found that Boyd site myself, did you have much bother ordering the stock from there?
Bowen20
No m8 didn't have a spot of bother ordering at all I though the correspondence was brilliant with them and the added bonus of tracking my item every step ofthe way was excellent. I would definitely order another one I'm thinking of another Howa stainless but in 22-250 and if I do I will definaty order another stock for it. Especially at that price. I'm in the field at the mo just setting it up and it's back on form again just shot 2 young bunnies.

Bowen20
MTC Viper 6x24x56 SCB Reticule. It's really good especially at night when lamping. And doesn't go milky at long ranges.

Bowen20
I dunno where you live cos I'm on my phone but if your anywhere near swillington shooting supplies they have a good stock of rifle scopes. The scope I have is around £250.00 or you can order them from www.Uttings.com it's really good they also let you take them outta the shop and look through them which I think is very trusting.
