selling a broken gun

Recommended Posts

I believe you can, but you wont get much for it broken!

As above, anyone will take it off your hands if the price is right. Most people on here would give you a tenner just to use it for spare parts. Myself included.

As Barney86 and rcooke25552 have said they both have an interest, you never know how many others also might have an interest so put it up for the highest bidder, obviously you need to give a price to be within the forum rules, I would suggest a sensible price but who am I to suggest anything. :good:

Good luck mate,

Jimmy

simple answer is yes you can sell it, definitely worth more than a tenner but only what someone is prepared to pay for it. Breaking it for spares is an option but you would need to inform your FEO of your intentions and work out declaring it as scrapped. after all try and buy a barrel or stock for one and you see why its worth a bit in bits

well i finally got around to taking it apart today and found that nothing was broken at all. the action spring had got jammed in the tube at the joint probably down to lack of lubrication so a good clean and oil and it's as good as new. thanks for all the replies and offers guys.

it's just one thing after another. i took it out today and after about 10 shots i had another proble. the trigger locked back after a shot and then actually fell off. the cast aluminium trigger had actually snapped so as soon as i get my cert back from my address change i'll be trying to sell it for spares.
