hammerofthor
Bagged three on Wednesday morning but was worried about the big ones kidneys, they were adhered to the abdominal cavity. Is he OK to eat, others have said it's just fat but is it ?

Frenchieboy
Certainly looks like nothing more than fat to me mate. This is often more noticable at the beginning of winter when the rabbits are in peak condition - Sometimes when they are in prime condition you can hardly see the kidneys for fat, especially if you allow them to cool right down before you gut them! Perfectly fine to eat! Edit: I suspect that one was a buck, I find that bucks tend to carry more fat around the kidneys than does Edited May 20, 2011 by Frenchieboy

Thanks guys, just took them all out of the freezer to make a big curry. I was up at 4am again this morning but the weather has gone t**$ up here so it's FPS on the PC instead of rabbits this morning.
