Axe
I swear by DPM's. Cheap, Tough, Quiet and effective. Only downside is not being to waterproof. I have been considering using a waterproofing liquid or spray. Maybe that would be enough. I also here the german Flecktarn is very good. Try this link: www.flecktarn.co.uk
coupe312
is the tradition dpm pattern than the newer advance timber style of jacket? or is it a sales myth
SNAKEBITE
is the tradition dpm pattern than the newer advance timber style of jacket? or is it a sales myth eh? I think you mean is the DPM better than the Advantage timber. Well the answer is yes, and no. What ever works best in your terrain is what is best. DPM is cheap cheerful and VERY good. However in Summer it is a little too "bright" for some of the shoots I have. The browner colouring of the Advantage Timber works better with the scrubby grass. Horse for courses. Try this link: www.flecktarn.co.uk Millets do a wash in waterproofer for about £8 which is meant to work very well. Could do jacket and trousers for that. I plan to re-do my Advantage timber jacket at the end of the spring with it.

Try this link: www.flecktarn.co.uk Just to say I ordered from flecktarn recently and their service was very good. They email a picture of your order before they put it in the post so you can check it and I ordered one afternoon and it was in my paws by 10 am the next day. :o
Sergeant
I use surplus DPM, cheap and very good, you can lean against a tree in the ealy evening and someone can walk right past (to the point of me getting trod on!) If your after waterproof stuff, try teh goretex dpm, its light but does rustle slightly.
