folding seats

Stirky,

I like this sort of chair as well as it fits nicely on to the back of my rucksack, with all the pigeonning gear in. I like one that is high enough for you, as opposed to the picnic style chairs you can get everywhere. They are just too low for continued use. After using them they make bloody old legs ache.

If you have an Instore near you, check them out.

They are doing a seat like you describe for £6.

If you are fairly tall though, like me ( 6'4") you might have to have the legs extended. I have just bought one and it is away with my mate for the extensions.

It seems to be sturdily built.

Hello Ive,

Until recently it was called Poundstretcher. It might just be a local Yorkshire shop... I don't know.

I would have thought any cheapie shop would have sold the folding seats...that's all this type that I am describing is.

stuartp,

Yes, I have looked at those cheap ones and tried one. But I like the luxury of a good back to lean against and watch the world go by, when the birdies aren't playing.

Plus, those 3 legged ones are bloody uncomfortable. Plus, with my weight they sink into the earth !! :*)
