station
Hi All, I am in the market for a new shotgun and have set my sights set on a Beretta A400 Xplor Lite. I have shot one and got on very well with it, plus read some very favourable words on here. My only quibble is what length barrel to go for. The one that I shot was 28", but I know they do a 26" so was wondering if anyone has one in this length ? If yes, then what are the plus and minus points for it when used for clays and rough shooting. Many thanks for any help and advice. Cheers. COACH
Go for the 28, its the all rounder model.

neil w
defo a 28 in as said good all rounder . good hide gun and clay gun . and holds good residual value
wymberley
Shame they don't do a 25", then you'd have a sensible sized barrel for a pigeon hide.
chrispti
I found a 26'' auto to be too ''quick'' if you like. A 28'' was far more smoother/ steady to swing. A 30'' was even steadier, but for snap shooting or fast close birds, it was a struggle to get the gun in front. For me, 28'' is the best all rounder
