proTOM1
Had a few hours out late this afternoon over pea stubble ,was not expecting much to come from the field as since it was cut have taken over 400 birds . Setup at the far end with the wind slightly in my face from the right ,put out a random pattern with the rotary some 80 yards out and to the right as the birds come in from behind .Soon had birds coming for a look but they were all over 50 yards by the time i got up to shoot ,so a quick change of the rotary bringing it closer in and a bit more to the right and what a good change it was . Birds came in slowly every 15 mins or so but was losing loads to a field of standing wheat on the next door farm Final pick up was 22 birds for 31 shots
chrispti
Good shooting bud Keeping an eye on a flat patch of wheat might give it a go Sunday

Mightymariner
Nice one Tom, I put my rotary right in front of my hide yesterday....that was until the battery died! A couple of the stubbles have loads of missed peas on them so I think the pigeons will be on them for a bit.

Still plenty of spilled peas on my stubbles but they prefer the milky wheat ive found over the years anyway
