ajm1979
Hi all, just sent another mailshot to the farms in my area two days ago and already had two phonecalls and two new permissions, so that's five permissions in 8 weeks just from sending letters. I know alot of you on here insist that face to face is the only way but for those of you like me who maybe work long hours 6 days a week there simply isn't the time in the day to get out door knocking until the winter when work is quiet. In the past week from two letters I've had 97 crows and 27 rabbits on two outings on small farms, good value for £36 worth of stamps! I'm hoping I end up with the problem of too many permissions too handle if It keeps going this way.

ajm1979
First attempt was a letter, this time designed a basic but tidy looking A5 advert/flyer and that's started working for me.
Bowen20
oooooo sounds like just the job and what i could do with. have you tried any golf courses yet? and is there any chance of a copy of what you send as yours is already tested and proven to work might save me some time and help me bag some permission before the harvest. Thanks in advance. + we live miles apart so its not like i will be taking your permission too.
Spiderdude
Well done Andy. Had a few knock backs to my letters and zero permissions from just short of 200 letters. Few nice letters back saying thanks but no thanks right now. Will try again soon with a different letter and a flyer. Thought I was a good letter writer, but guess I've not phrased it in the correct manner.
ajm1979
The most recent one isn't a letter its a flyer/leaflet advertising free pest control and its bagged me a few farms, I have a business name E-Mail and even a basic website to give it a bit more credibility.
