Mungler
Someone I know was regularly picking up series 1 / 2 landrovers from ex army auctions - they all came with Captain Kirk mileage but had been very well serviced and maintained - they also came with a host of toys like winches. I don't think he ever paid more than a couple of hundred quid a go. I will ping him an email to get details, but in the meantime try Google. Forgot to mention that you'd actually get to spend some time shooting rather than playing at land rover mechanic. wacker
Wanted series 2 or 2a to restore WHY ? Anything considered I'll ask my mate, as he has a series 2a sat in his front garden which is a runner, solid too. It has a hard top, good tyres & is Bronze green. He doesn't use it much & wants the space.
al4x
Road tax has still gone up and to add insult to Injury the DVLA has just sent my reminder with a nice request to pay £175 and I have just read they're wrong and they should have updated them with the new rates For ex army stuff try www.witham-sv.com they auction off all the old stuff. I'm not sure how cheap they go but its worth a look just for some of the good toys they sell off
